Created for Arcadia's Images of America series, the soft cover history examines the central business district of Arlington Heights from 1854 and arrival of the railroad to its present nationally praised architectural and economical turn-around.

The book has received considerable press from newspapers and magazines to National Public Radio. It has gone into three printings since 2001.
